What is World of Cupping Academy?

World of Cupping Academy is a professional education academy based in Houston, Texas, specializing in advanced Wet Cupping (Hijama) education. Our programs combine advanced anatomy, physiology, professional cupping techniques, safety principles, clinical reasoning, and business development. We offer structured online education worldwide and supervised hands-on practical training for eligible students residing in the United States. Our mission is to elevate professional cupping education and help qualified students develop advanced knowledge and skills.
Our Advanced Level 5 program is designed for existing cupping practitioners and individuals with relevant healthcare or wellness backgrounds. Suitable applicants may include Hijama practitioners, doctors, nurses, massage therapists, physical therapists, and other qualified professionals. This is an advanced educational program, not an introductory course. Applicants must meet the academy’s admission requirements.

Programs & Training

Can I study online?

Yes. Our Full Online Advanced Wet Cupping (Hijama) Level 5 program is available to eligible students worldwide. Students receive advanced educational modules, animated anatomy lessons, professional techniques, safety education, case-based learning, and assessments. The program is self-paced.
Yes. Supervised practical training is offered at World of Cupping in Houston, Texas, through our Online + Practical Diploma program. Eligible students receive instructor-guided demonstrations, hands-on learning, safety instruction, and practical skills evaluation. This pathway is currently available only to eligible students residing in the United States.

Full Online, Advanced Level 5: 100% online education; advanced anatomy and animated lessons; techniques and safety principles; case-based learning and assessments; lifetime access to purchased course materials; and an Advanced Level 5 Certificate upon successful completion. Available to eligible students worldwide.

Online + Practical Diploma: Includes the full online curriculum plus supervised hands-on training in Houston, instructor guidance, practical evaluation, and an Advanced Level 5 Practical Diploma upon successful completion. Eligible graduates may qualify to apply for PWA professional licensing, subject to PWA’s requirements and approval.

Absolutely. Our specialized Advanced Wet Cupping (Hijama) Anatomy curriculum goes beyond introductory cupping education. Students study anatomical structures, muscular systems, tissue layers, nervous system considerations, landmarks, and safety considerations. Animated visual education helps students understand the reasoning behind each application. We don’t simply teach WHERE to place the cups. We teach you WHY.
Yes. The program includes structured quizzes, knowledge assessments, and educational evaluations. Students must successfully complete required modules and assessments to receive their certificate. Practical Diploma students must also complete supervised training and practical evaluation.
Our Advanced Level 5 program is designed around a 90-day professional learning journey. Online students may progress at their own pace; completion times vary with individual progress and assessment requirements.
Yes. Students receive lifetime access to purchased online course materials, subject to platform availability and our Terms and Conditions. This allows graduates to revisit lessons and reinforce their knowledge. Lifetime access applies while the academy continues to operate and support the learning platform.

International Students & Certification

Can international students enroll?

Yes. Eligible international students can enroll in the Full Online Advanced Wet Cupping (Hijama) Level 5 program, access the curriculum, complete modules, and take assessments from anywhere in the world. The Online + Practical Diploma pathway is currently available only to eligible students residing in the United States.
Yes. International students who successfully complete the Full Online program and required assessments receive an Advanced Level 5 Certificate issued by World of Cupping Academy. Certificates are provided digitally for downloading and printing. The certificate confirms educational completion and does not itself provide professional licensing.
World of Cupping Academy maintains professional accreditation and recognition relationships with organizations identified on our official Accreditation page. Our educational approach emphasizes advanced knowledge, professional development, and responsible practice. Private professional accreditation or recognition is distinct from government accreditation or state approval. PWA Professional Licensing

What is the Professional Wellness Alliance (PWA)?

The Professional Wellness Alliance (PWA) is a private professional organization serving holistic and alternative wellness practitioners. PWA offers professional credentialing or licensing programs, educational resources, and guidance for practitioners. Its application process may involve qualification verification, background screening, additional education, and independent approval. For current requirements, visit www.pwai.us.
Eligible students residing in the United States who successfully complete both the Advanced Level 5 online curriculum and supervised hands-on practical training in Houston may qualify to apply for professional licensing through PWA. Applicants must meet the academy’s graduation requirements and PWA’s current application, eligibility, and approval criteria. PWA independently reviews applications; completion of training does not guarantee approval.
Completing the Advanced Wet Cupping (Hijama) Level 5 program does not automatically grant professional licensing. Eligible students residing in the United States who successfully complete both the online curriculum and supervised hands-on practical training in Houston may qualify to apply for professional licensing through the Professional Wellness Alliance (PWA). Licensing applications are subject to PWA’s eligibility requirements and approval process.
No. Completion of the Full Online program alone does not satisfy the practical training requirement for the Academy’s PWA-related pathway. Students interested in this pathway must complete the Online + Practical Diploma program in Houston and meet PWA’s independent requirements. The online certificate is an educational completion credential.

Payments & Policies

Are payment plans available?

Payment plans are available exclusively for the Online + Practical Diploma program, subject to the applicable payment agreement. The Full Online Advanced Level 5 program requires a single upfront payment. All payment terms and fees are disclosed before enrollment.
World of Cupping Academy maintains a no-refund policy for course purchases, except where a refund or cancellation right is required by applicable law. Students should review program details, eligibility requirements, course content, and the Terms and Conditions before purchasing. Installment obligations remain subject to the signed enrollment agreement and applicable law.

Career & Business Opportunities

Can I open my own Hijama practice after graduation?

The program includes professional development and business education covering important aspects of establishing and managing a cupping practice. Course completion does not automatically authorize graduates to provide regulated services or operate a professional practice. Graduates must meet the applicable requirements where they plan to operate.
